Destiny Child is Reborn: A New Idle RPG from Com2uS

Destiny Child, the popular mobile game initially launched in 2016, is making a triumphant return. After being archived in September 2023, Com2uS has partnered with ShiftUp to develop a brand-new iteration of the game. This time, it's taking the form of an idle RPG, developed by Com2uS's subsidiary, Tiki Taka Studio (known for titles like Arcana Tactics).

A Fresh Perspective, Familiar Charm:

While retaining the beloved aesthetic of the original, featuring its charming 2D characters and evocative atmosphere, the new Destiny Child will boast a completely revamped gameplay experience. Com2uS promises a fresh set of mechanics while capturing the essence of the original game.

A Trip Down Memory Lane (For Some):

Before its official closure after nearly seven years, ShiftUp released a "Memorial" version of Destiny Child. This allows former players to revisit the game's stunning character art and fondly remember their collected Childs. Access to the Memorial version, however, requires verification using previous account data, limiting access to those who played before the shutdown. The Memorial app is available on the Google Play Store, offering a nostalgic experience until the new game's release.

The Memorial version provides a bittersweet journey back to the beloved characters and their classes, even if battles are no longer possible.
