Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected release timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a launch before April 2026.

Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's historical release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.

Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with significant playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, offering selected players early access to core gameplay elements. Feedback from this beta test will be crucial in fine-tuning the game before its official debut.

This announcement also impacts the future of Need for Speed. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
