In a recent interview, studio founder Josef Fares stated that if forced to choose a game to continue, It Takes Two would be his selection. He added, "Who knows what the future holds? Never say never."
While no official sequel announcement exists, Hazelight is currently focused on their upcoming title, Split Fiction.
