Fortnite: Mastering Weapon Expertise Quests
Fortnite Hunters propels Chapter 6 into an exhilarating new dimension, immersing players in a world inspired by Japanese Mythology. This season introduces players to new locations, formidable demon bosses, and a host of powerful items to discover. One of the standout features of Fortnite Hunters is the ability to teleport across the map using Void Oni Masks, and now, securing high-rarity weapons has become more accessible thanks to the introduction of Weapon Expertise Quests.
Weapon Expertise Quests are now live in Fortnite Hunters, offering players the chance to earn XP rewards for each completed stage. But the real prize comes from unlocking access to Legendary weapons sold by NPCs scattered across the map. Here's a comprehensive guide to understanding and completing these quests in Fortnite.

This guide has been updated to include the latest Melee Expertise Quests, which, upon completion, allow players to purchase the Typhoon Blade from Kendo.
Weapon Expertise Quests Explained
Weapon Expertise Quests are a unique feature in Fortnite Hunters, intricately linked to specific NPCs on the map. Players are introduced to these quests through their first interaction, where they must speak with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones to learn about Expertise and weapon sales.
Each Weapon Expertise Quest comprises a series of challenges divided into five stages. Completing these stages allows players to unlock one of three Legendary weapons sold by Hope, Ruji, or Vengeance Jones. Additionally, subsequent quests enable players to purchase both the Void and Fire Oni Masks from Daigo, as well as the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. These quests can be tracked in the main lobby or in-game by navigating to the Quests Tab and selecting Expertise Quests.
While Weapon Expertise Quests can be completed passively, they will take some time to fulfill. However, the rewards are well worth the effort. For those still working through these quests, here are all the Expertise Rewards available for purchase:
