Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some upcoming departures. January is shaping up to be a strong month for subscribers, despite some titles being exclusive to certain tiers.

New Games Joining Xbox Game Pass in January 2025:

Microsoft announced seven new games for Xbox Game Pass, launching throughout the month. Road 96, a choice-driven adventure, is already available (January 7th) across all tiers, including PC Game Pass. This marks its return to the service after a previous stint. The following titles arrive later in the month:

• January 8th: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, Rolling Hills.
• January 14th: UFC 5, Diablo.

Noteworthy is the tier exclusivity for some titles: Diablo is limited to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. The remaining additions are accessible with a standard subscription.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departures from Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

Microsoft also confirmed the departure of six games from the service on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
