Gears of War: Reloaded's beta weekend is set to run longer and feature additional content, as The Coalition addresses player feedback.

"We’ve listened to you," the team shared on social media. "More maps, more modes, and extra time to play."

The multiplayer beta, now extended, will run from Friday, June 20 at 12pm PDT to Sunday, June 22 at 9pm PDT. The Execution mode joins King of the Hill on maps like Gridlock, Raven Down (Courtyard and War Machine), and Canals. Team Deathmatch is also available via social matchmaking on these maps, with Gold Rush added to the roster.

While server stability concerns persist for some players, beta tests are designed to iron out such issues before the game’s official release in a few weeks.

Last month, Microsoft unveiled Gears of War: Reloaded, a remastered version of the 2006 classic, launching August 26 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The updated edition boasts enhanced visuals, upgraded audio, crossplay, cross-progression, and includes all DLC from the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

As a bonus for loyal fans, those who purchased the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before the announcement will receive Gears of War: Reloaded as a free upgrade. Eligible players can expect a code via Xbox DM before the launch.
