The official GUNDAM TCG social media channels released a teaser video announcing the launch of a new global TCG project. This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary celebrations. The format of the game – whether purely physical or incorporating online play – is yet to be confirmed.

A full reveal is scheduled for October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement livestream on their official YouTube channel. The announcement will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo (a known GUNPLA enthusiast) and Kotoko Sasaki, along with former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi.

The announcement has rekindled fond memories of Bandai's previous, now-discontinued TCGs like Super Robot Wars V Crusade and Gundam War, leading many fans to anticipate this new game as a spiritual successor, even referring to it as "Gundam War 2.0."
