Inspired by Counter-Strike, S&D Extraction puts a unique spin on the classic bomb defusal formula. Two teams of four face off—attackers aiming to plant a device at a specific point, and defenders striving to prevent them. Teams swap roles after each round, with the first to six round wins claiming victory.

The mode introduces a robust economic system, central to its strategic depth. Players earn in-game currency by completing objectives, using these earnings to purchase equipment at the start of each round. Pricing is dynamic, fluctuating based on player performance, and all gear is reset at the end of each round.

Item costs reflect their effectiveness and power; expect cheaper options early in the match, escalating prices mid-game, and potentially even higher costs later if players strategically save their currency. A respawn mechanic will also be available for a price.

Launching in 2025, S&D Extraction promises a dynamic and engaging competitive experience for Halo Infinite players, adding a compelling new layer to the game's already robust offerings.
