The game centers around Lila, a woman with the extraordinary ability to create universes from her very hand. The player begins as the Master, a skeletal cultist from the Cult of Detachment, landing in the dilapidated mining colony.

Exploring the ramshackle colony, filled with quirky shops, leads to Honin's Tea House, Lila's establishment. The mystery surrounding Lila unfolds as players switch between her perspective and the Master's, experiencing their intertwined narratives.

Playing as Lila involves a mini-game of universe creation, blending ingredients to produce visually stunning worlds. The Master's journey delves into the philosophies of the Cult of Detachment and interactions with the Church of Many Gods.
