Discovery's decision to revert the streaming service's name back to HBO Max while filming promotional content for Season 2. The announcement that HBO Max would be reinstated came as a surprise to many, including Gunn and his team. As they recorded promotional material for the upcoming Peacemaker Season 2, set to debut on August 21, Gunn stumbled upon the name change in the script.
