Pokémon Go's February Community Day shines the spotlight on Karrablast and Shelmet. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on Sunday, February 9th, trainers can enjoy boosted spawns of both Pokémon, with a chance to find their rare Shiny variants. As always, expect exciting bonuses and special research tasks during the event.

Catching sufficient Karrablast and Shelmet during Community Day unlocks their evolution into Escavalier and Accelgor with unique charged attacks. Escavalier masters Razor Shell (delivering 35 power in Trainer Battles or 55 in gyms/raids), while Accelgor obtains Energy Ball (consistently powerful at 90 across all battle types).

For $2 (or regional equivalent), trainers can access exclusive Dual Destiny-themed Special Research featuring encounters with both featured Pokémon, complete with special backgrounds. The paid ticket also includes bonus encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.

Free Timed Research becomes available for active players during the event window, offering another opportunity to catch the spotlight Pokémon with enhanced Shiny odds. Don't forget to redeem active Pokémon Go codes for complimentary rewards!
