Controversy erupts around Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of in-game subpoenas. Activists, including Grummz, have launched a campaign to cancel the game, fueled by rumors of a Saudi Arabian ban and the inclusion of "progressive" content. Social media attacks have targeted the developers, Warhorse Studios.
Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, has responded, urging the public to rely on official statements and not believe everything found online. He confirmed that review codes will be distributed in the coming days, following the game's December gold master status, allowing for previews approximately four weeks prior to release. Interestingly, initial "final previews" based on review copies are anticipated a week after the review code distribution.
