However, the potential for LEGO interpretations of other beloved Nintendo franchises remains largely untapped. While we've seen a wealth of Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing creations, the possibilities extend far beyond these. For fellow LEGO and Nintendo enthusiasts, the question remains: which Nintendo universe deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for the next generation of Nintendo games is high. This likely means more LEGO Nintendo sets are on the horizon, fueled by Nintendo's investment in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch titles. Personally, I believe Metroid presents the most exciting potential for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the way, it's the perfect opportunity to create truly captivating builds. Beyond Metroid, I'd love to see dedicated LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA constructions. However, given Mattel's licensing agreement with The Pokémon Company, this may be less likely.
