While it's challenging to pinpoint the core concept of Lucky Offense without having played it before its launch, the game seems to revolve around that tantalizing element of chance. You'll find yourself rolling for new and increasingly powerful guardians in each battle. Although strategy is touted as the main focus, there's no doubt that luck plays a significant role.

For those who wish to refine their strategic approach, merging different units is a key feature. Each guardian you summon boasts unique talents, and some Mythical Guardians can only be formed by merging units obtained through fortunate rolls.

I feel lucky, oh so lucky

If I were to be a bit wry, I'd highlight how the gambling aspect of gacha has become so normalized that we're now seeing games built around this mechanic. However, many strategy games incorporate elements of chance, and Lucky Offense is not the first to do so.

Whether this mix of luck-based formations, quick and simple auto-battles, and flashy graphics as you take down enemy armies will hold up in the long term remains to be seen. Nonetheless, there's certainly potential for a lot of fun here.
