Larian has launched a stress test update for Baldur's Gate 3's upcoming Patch 8. This pre-release test aims to identify and fix potential issues before the full patch's release. The stress test is currently limited to select participants.
Patch 8 Stress Test Update 1: Bug Fixes and Improvements
This initial update addresses various bugs, crashes, and scripting errors. Key improvements include:
- Preservation of container contents upon destruction.
- Enhanced screenshot functionality in Photo Mode for Steam Deck users.
- Improved responsiveness of character poses.
- Enhanced cross-play functionality.
- Updated tooltip values for the Booming Blade spell.
