Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Major Balance Changes

NetEase Games' developer update reveals exciting changes for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and adds the highly anticipated Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive on day one, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," also debut this season.

Significant balance adjustments are in store. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom get buffs to enhance their battlefield effectiveness.

Further balance tweaks include enhancements for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger also receive boosts to improve their team synergy. Adjustments to Jeff the Land Shark address inconsistencies between his early warning and ultimate attack hitbox, though his ultimate ability remains largely unchanged despite some player concerns.

While NetEase Games remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature—a point of contention among players—Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and gameplay refinements, generating considerable player anticipation.
