NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. Yes, the game is officially heading for the grave! Puns aside, after four years since its worldwide release on Android in April 2020, the game is shutting down. If you never played it, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 horror-survival game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit, Dead by Daylight, which first launched on PC in June 2016. While the mobile version is saying goodbye, the PC and console versions will continue to thrill players.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile, you can take on the role of either a Killer or a Survivor in a deadly game of hide and seek. As a Killer, your mission is to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity. Conversely, as a Survivor, your goal is to evade the Killer and stay alive.

When is the Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS?

The Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS is scheduled for March 20th, 2025. Until January 16th, 2025, the game will remain available for download on app stores. After this date, new downloads will no longer be possible. If you already have the game installed, you can continue playing until the final shutdown on March 20th, 2025.

Regarding refunds, NetEase is handling them in accordance with each region's laws. More detailed information on the refund process will be available starting January 16th, 2025.

If you wish to continue your Dead by Daylight journey, you can switch to the PC or console version. There's a special Welcome Package awaiting you if you make the switch. Plus, if you've spent money or earned XP in the mobile version, you'll receive loyalty rewards upon transitioning.
