Orna Taps into Game Environment to Promote Eco-Consciousness
Embark on an eco-friendly adventure with Orna's Terra's Legacy! This unique in-game event from Northern Forge Studios blends virtual gameplay with real-world environmental action. From September 9th to 19th, fight pollution-themed enemies and contribute to cleaning up our planet.
Combating Pollution, Virtually and in Reality
Terra's Legacy challenges players to identify and report polluted locations in their real world through the Orna app. These locations are then transformed into in-game "Gloomsites," where players battle the Murk, representing pollution itself. Defeating the Murk raises awareness and allows players to plant virtual trees and grow Gaia apples in those same polluted areas.
Gaia Apples and Collaborative Cleanup
These Gaia apples serve a dual purpose: they enhance player characters' magical abilities and can be harvested by other players, fostering collaboration and shared rewards. The more players participate, the cleaner the virtual and real worlds become.
