This strategic move, building on their acquisition of META Publishing in 2021, aims to support and amplify the development of narrative-focused games.

Owlcat's Initial Publishing Portfolio

Owlcat has already partnered with two promising studios:

• Emotion Spark Studio (Serbia): Developing Rue Valley, a narrative RPG centered around a protagonist trapped in a time loop within a secluded town. The game will explore themes of mental health and personal growth as the character unravels the mystery.

• Another Angle Games (Poland): Creating Shadow of the Road, an isometric RPG set in an alternate feudal Japan. Blending samurai culture, honor, and tactical turn-based combat, the game will feature a unique mix of magical yokai and steampunk technology.

Both Rue Valley and Shadow of the Road are in early development, with further details expected soon. Owlcat plans to provide regular updates as these projects progress, offering players a glimpse into the captivating worlds and stories being crafted.
