Cursed Objects, also known as "Cursed Possessions," are randomly generated items in Phasmophobia, appearing on various maps depending on game mode and settings. Therefore, strategic use is paramount; sometimes, leaving them untouched is the wiser choice. Note that Cursed Objects won't appear at all difficulty levels or in Challenge Mode.
How All Cursed Objects Work in Phasmophobia
Phasmophobia currently features seven Cursed Objects, each with unique abilities and debilitating effects. A common thread is the substantial sanity drain they inflict on the user. Proximity to the user during activation significantly increases the chance of a "cursed hunt." These hunts mirror regular hunts but ignore sanity levels, occurring even immediately after a standard hunt, and lasting 20 seconds longer.
