The Pokémon Company International is thrilled to announce its new reality show, "Pokémon: Trainer Tour," premiering globally on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st.
Hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) will take viewers on a cross-country journey, meeting and mentoring aspiring Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) trainers. Traveling in a Pikachu-themed bus, they'll connect with passionate Pokémon enthusiasts, sharing their stories and love for the Pokémon brand and TCG.
Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, stated that the show is a groundbreaking series, highlighting the incredible diversity of the Pokémon fanbase. He emphasized the show's focus on the connections fostered within the Pokémon TCG community.
Since its 1996 debut, the Pokémon TCG has captivated millions. Now, nearly three decades later, it's a global phenomenon with a massive, dedicated fanbase and a vibrant competitive scene.
"Pokémon: Trainer Tour" celebrates both the game and its players, offering a glimpse into the unique experiences and inspiring stories of the diverse Pokémon community.
