Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, offers exciting rewards and progression milestones. This pass enhances the already anticipated Unova-themed event, featuring Gen 5 Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.
The Pokémon GO Tour, an annual event celebrating a specific Pokémon region, returns with its Unova focus. Previous Tours highlighted Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokémon and special variants.
This year's Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm local time, offers both free and deluxe options. Players earn Tour Points via daily tasks, catching Pokémon, raids, and egg hatching to unlock rewards like Candy and stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire March 9th, 6 pm.
A Deluxe Tour Pass, priced at $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 unlocked ranks), is available on the Pokémon GO Webstore during the same period. It unlocks all free and paid rewards, plus a Mythical Victini encounter and a Lucky Trinket. This trinket guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. Deluxe Pass rewards also expire March 9th, 6 pm.
The Unova Tour Pass adds extra excitement to an event promising the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, mirroring last year's Necrozma debut. Shiny Meloetta will also appear via ticketed Masterwork Research.
