The Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme is a Windows 11 gaming handheld PC. This high-end model boasts an AMD Zen 4 based Z1 Extreme CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, a sharp 7" 1080p 120Hz display.
Unlike the Linux-based Steam Deck, the ROG Ally runs Windows 11, offering compatibility with virtually all major game launchers (Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games Store, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, etc.). This broad compatibility makes it appealing to gamers who enjoy titles beyond Steam's ecosystem.
In our review, Robert Anderson praised the ROG Ally as a fantastic portable Xbox Game Pass machine, noting its bright, high-resolution screen ideal for on-the-go gaming.
