The Last of Us Season 2: Release Date Confirmed
HBO's highly anticipated The Last of Us Season 2 premieres this April! Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 13th, at 9 pm ET/PT on HBO and streaming on Max. This seven-episode season promises a thrilling continuation of Joel and Ellie's journey.
Set five years after the events of Season 1, the story picks up with Joel and Ellie residing in Montana with Joel's brother, Tommy. Season 2 adapts the narrative of The Last of Us Part II, so familiarity with the game is recommended for a richer viewing experience.
Returning are Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, joined by a stellar cast of newcomers: Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Merle Dandridge as Marlene (note: Young Mazine and Ariela Barer are not mentioned in the original HBO announcement), and Tati Gabrielle as Nora. Interestingly, Gabrielle will also star in Naughty Dog's upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
