Beyond: Two Souls TV Series on the Way from Star Elliot Page
Elliot Page's Pageboy Productions to Adapt Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls into a TV Series
Elliot Page, the original star of Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls, is spearheading a television adaptation of the acclaimed PlayStation adventure game. Deadline reports that Pageboy Productions has secured the rights from Quantic Dream, embarking on a project currently in its early development stages. The series aims to retain the game's signature non-linear narrative structure. Further details, including casting and release dates, remain undisclosed.
Page expressed to Deadline that filming the game was a "challenging and fulfilling" experience, stating, "The story's rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation. We want to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that resonates with fans and newcomers."

Matt Jordan Smitt, Pageboy's head of development and production, emphasized the team's commitment to honoring the game's legacy while incorporating fresh perspectives. He highlighted the themes of survival and consequential decision-making as central to the narrative.
Originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2013, Beyond: Two Souls later arrived on PlayStation 4 (2015) and PC (2019). Directed and written by David Cage, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities and her connection to a spirit named Aiden. The game's non-linear storytelling, coupled with performances from Page and Willem Dafoe, garnered significant attention.
David Cage confirmed his collaboration with Page on the TV series, although the specifics of his involvement are yet to be revealed. Cage expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate again with Elliot Page on this project… Beyond: Two Souls is a very special game for millions of players around the world who were moved by the story of Jodie and Aiden, and their journey in life and beyond. I know that Elliot has all the talent and instinct to make it something really unique on TV.”
The Beyond: Two Souls TV series is still in the early stages of production. In the meantime, you can find IGN's original review of the game here and a compilation of all IGN's Quantic Dream reviews here.
