Jharrel Jerome, star of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, has confirmed that production on the highly anticipated third installment, Beyond the Spider-Verse, hasn't even begun. He revealed to Decider that he hasn't yet recorded any lines, and that numerous aspects of the film are still "being figured out." This news comes as no surprise to many, considering the five-year gap between the first and second films.

"No, I wish," Jerome responded when asked about the commencement of production. "We haven’t started up yet. A lot of things are being figured out, but good things."

While Jerome's role in the second film was relatively small, his character is poised to become a central antagonist in the third. In this alternate reality, the radioactive spider bite intended for Miles shifted to the main timeline's protagonist, altering the course of his life. Consequently, Miles G.
