How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event
Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt. But one seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—is proving surprisingly tricky for some. Here's how to conquer this challenge.

One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. Long-time players likely know their local museum's location. New players should check their map for the pillar icon; four museums exist in the default game. The Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.
How to Study a Historical Display
Once you arrive at a museum, head inside. Both paintings and sculptures qualify as Historical Displays. Select the one that catches your eye and choose the "View" option. The completion of the quest will be indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Despite the quest's simplicity, many players report difficulties. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" button from functioning. Some players have even removed all mods, but the problem persists. Hopefully, EA will address this issue soon. Until then, try viewing multiple items in different museums.
