The imposing Graifberg Castle and majestic cathedral, perched dramatically atop the jagged cliffs of Swartrow, immediately capture the eye. Their presence in such a remote location, miles from any other civilization, begs the question: why here? The answer, simply put, is silver. The surrounding mountains are rich with veins of this precious metal, its allure drawing settlers to this isolated valley. The landscape is scarred with mine entrances, the constant rhythmic clang of pickaxes a haunting soundtrack to life in Swartrow, echoing through the valley day and night.
Graifberg Castle, prominently featured in the opening moments of the January 2025 trailer, hints at its pivotal role in the game's narrative. The update confirms the lucrative silver mining industry as the primary driver of Swartrow's human population.
