Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, continues to be plagued by leaks. Initial gameplay footage emerged in 2022 following closed beta testing, resurfacing two years later, hinting at ongoing development. Recently, an introductory cinematic has leaked online, potentially indicating a developmental reboot.

The cinematic's origin and authenticity remain unconfirmed, shared by gaming content leaker Shaun Weber, who suggests further leaks are possible if development continues.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based co-op shooter, inspired by the success of Helldivers 2. Leaked footage depicts an alien invasion storyline where players fight extraterrestrial forces as chosen defenders of Earth.

Ubisoft has yet to officially announce Project U or provide a release date.
