The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973, transforming this underperforming weapon into a viable option. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The Full Auto mod is a limited-time reward within the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Terminator event, available until February 20th. Following the event's conclusion, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.

To obtain the mod, players must collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by eliminating enemies in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies modes, or by opening loot caches in Warzone.

The most efficient Skull farming method involves playing Zombies with the Rampage Inducer, exiting the game at Round 6, and repeating the process. Alternatively, Resurgence Solos in Warzone, focusing on rapidly opening loot caches, provides a quick Skull acquisition rate.

Full Auto Mod Functionality:

The Full Auto mod converts the AEK-973 from burst-fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition with a high rate of fire. It pairs effectively with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine. However, this conversion reduces the weapon's damage and range. Despite the damage reduction, the increased rate of fire maintains a competitive time-to-kill. The mod doesn't affect the AEK-973's handling or mobility, which remain slow; consider using attachments to mitigate this or employing it as a medium-to-long-range weapon.
