在《游戏王：决斗链接》的直播中，官方宣布最新更新将加入来自《游戏王Go Rush!!》动画系列的尤迪亚斯·维尔吉尔以及配套的新卡牌。此外，游戏还将加入以《Go Rush!!》为主题的地图和单人模式对手。与动画系列一样，本次更新将加入新的融合卡机制，该机制将场上两张正面表示的怪兽送入墓地作为素材来融合召唤特定卡牌。最后，更新还将加入两个新的卡包和构筑卡组。
卡牌自定义和更多UI更新
此次更新还包含大量改进，专注于个性化UI界面甚至卡牌本身。您可以在主菜单中自定义您的主页，选择您所选代表的不同姿势，以及在背景中显示您卡组的不同选项。
更大的更新体现在“编年史卡牌”功能中，您可以根据自己的喜好自定义和个性化您的卡牌。从卡牌图案、字体颜色到边框颜色，您都可以花费一定代价将您最喜欢的卡牌变成更稀有的版本。您甚至可以添加印章来标识这是您的原创设计，以及一个统计追踪器来追踪您使用这张特定卡牌的胜负场次和使用次数。
