Rome's newest attraction: GAMM, the city's largest video game museum, is now open! Located in Piazza della Repubblica, this impressive museum is the creation of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.

Rickards, a passionate advocate for video game preservation, describes GAMM as a journey through gaming history, technology, and interactive gameplay. Building on the success of Vigamus, another Roman gaming museum that has attracted over two million visitors since 2012, GAMM occupies 700 square meters across two floors, showcasing three captivating thematic zones.

Explore GAMM's Thrilling Exhibits:

• GAMMDOME: An interactive digital playground featuring historical gaming artifacts such as consoles and donated items, all based on the 4E concept: Experience, Exhibition, Education, and Entertainment.

• Path of Arcadia (PARC): A nostalgic trip back to the golden age of arcade games, featuring classics from the late 1970s through the 1980s, with a touch of early 1990s nostalgia.

• Historical Playground (HIP): A deep dive into game design, mechanics, and structure. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of gaming.
