Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins and New Characters!
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, forcing the Fantastic Four into action. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This season introduces the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard.
Players can earn free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens, without needing the premium battle pass. The full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10). Peni Parker's skin is on page three, while Scarlet Witch's is on page nine, each with unique visual effects. Note that some emotes and MVP animations are premium battle pass exclusives. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quests.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop features new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker). These stylish new outfits are sure to excite fans. With free and paid cosmetic options, along with the addition of the Fantastic Four, Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is packed with exciting new content.
