Marvel Snap is back online, but Second Dinner aren\'t happy and is seeking a new publisher
Marvel Snap is back online in the United States after a tumultuous period. However, developer Second Dinner has announced it's actively searching for a new publisher, a significant blow to Nuverse, the ByteDance subsidiary that previously published the popular card battler.
The game's brief unavailability followed the TikTok ban, a move that apparently wasn't communicated to Second Dinner. The abrupt service interruption, accompanied by a "banned" warning message, understandably angered both the developer and players.
Second Dinner's social media channels reflect a surge of player complaints regarding missed login rewards and disrupted event gameplay. The decision to seek a new publisher underscores the depth of the developer's dissatisfaction with the situation.
