Start designing your unique cross stitch patterns with the Cross Stitch Pattern Creator.

To begin creating a pattern, tap the 'Create a Cross Stitch Pattern' button.

The Cross Stitch Pattern Editor will open. Assign DMC floss colors by filling in the grid squares.

You can even add custom colors to your palette.

Getting started is easy: Use the Pencil tool to fill squares in your design. Use the Eraser to clear squares.

Enhance your design by choosing from over 80 decorative stamps and borders to apply to your pattern.

The toolbar buttons, from left to right, are:

DMC Floss Color button – Select your desired thread color.

Save button – Save your pattern.

Pencil button – Fill in squares on your pattern grid.

Eraser button – Remove filled squares and backstitch lines.

Backstitch button – First, choose a color, then use this button to add backstitch detail lines.

Backstitch move button – Click and drag an entire backstitch line to a new position.

Backstitch move stitch end – Select a backstitch to reveal blue handles; drag an endpoint to adjust the line.

Stamps button – Access a library of small pre-made designs to add to your pattern.

Borders button – Choose from decorative borders that automatically wrap around your design.

Dropper tool – Pick up an existing color from your pattern for reuse.

Bucket tool – Fill a contiguous area with the currently selected color.

Bucket+ tool – Replace all instances of one color with another.

Undo button – Reverse your last action.

Redo button – Restore an action you undid.

Selection box tool – Define an area to cut, copy, rotate, or flip.

Cut button – After selecting an area, use this to remove it from the pattern.

Copy button – After selecting an area, copy it to the clipboard.

Paste button – Paste a copied section onto your pattern and drag it into place.

Rotate button – Rotate the selected area or the entire pattern.

Flip right/left button – Flip the selection or pattern horizontally.

Flip top/bottom button – Flip the selection or pattern vertically.

Zoom in button – Enlarge the pattern view.

Zoom out button – Reduce the pattern view.

Symbols button – Toggle unique symbols on each color for easy identification.

Picture button – Import a photo from your device and convert it into a pattern.

Social media button – Share your creation via email, text, or other platforms.

Resize bars – Located at the bottom-right corner; drag to adjust your pattern's dimensions.

Option settings – Customize grid color, switch fill style between Solid and X's, or hide the row/column counter.

Instruction page – Shows the DMC colors used and finished sizes for various Aida cloth counts.

Finished Product page – Preview your pattern stitched. You can also simulate different fabric colors.
